The City Council of the City of Van Alstyne has determined that establishing regulations for the operation of golf carts on public streets and related safety, registration and permitting requirements best serves the general welfare, health and safety of the City and its residents.
How to obtain a golf cart permit:
1. Pay online at https://www.govpaynow.com/gps/user/cyg/plc/a003uz
or pay via cash/check/money order/credit card at City Hall.
2. After payment is made either online or in person, take the receipt and your complete Golf Cart Registration Form to the Van Alstyne Police Department to apply for your permit.
