Starting November 17th, the Van Alstyne Public Library will begin several, long-awaited internal renovations projects. While our building is getting its upgrade, library services are still here for you in new and creative ways!

Children’s Books for Checkout:
Select Children’s collection available for browsing or curbside pickup. Call us at (903) 482-5991 or use our Online Catalogue to reserve items for pickup during browsing hours.
Browsing and Pickup days: Tues & Thurs: 3 PM to 6 PM • Saturdays: 11 AM to 2 PM

New patrons may sign up in person at the Rec Center during browsing hours. Bring your driver’s license with your current address OR your ID & proof of current address. Must be 18 or older.
Book Return:
Main Library : 24/7 outdoor book drop, checked daily.
Rec Center : In person only during library browsing hours.
Recreation Center staff do NOT accept book returns
Curbside Service:
Browse our Online Catalogue to reserve books for pickup at the Recreation Center during library business hours. You will need your library card number and 4 digit PIN to reserve items in the catalog.
24/7 Free Public Wi-Fi:
Enjoy free public access Wi-Fi from both Library parking lots, available 24/7!
