The Van Alstyne Community and Economic Development Corporations (VA CEDC) are responsible for community and economic development in the Van Alstyne area with the following objectives:


  • Create or retain job opportunities
  • Recruit or retain manufacturers and industries
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month - unless otherwise indicated on the agenda. The CDC meets first at 6:00 PM, and the EDC meets immediately following.

The Van Alstyne Economic Development Action Agenda, prepared by DADCO Consulting Services, Inc., is a comprehensive strategy aimed at guiding Van Alstyne through sustainable and purposeful growth.
