The City of Van Alstyne is a growing community and, as such, has established standards for the platting process. Plats for the sale or transfer of land and for the development or redevelopment of land must be submitted according to the standards required by law and outlined in the checklists below.

In accordance with Section 28 of the Zoning Ordinance, only property with permanent zoning may be platted. Please refer to the Zoning page if permanent zoning has not been received.
