Any resident of Texas may receive a library card at no cost. A picture ID, proof of current address, and a telephone number is required.

Ages 6-17 may receive a card provided the parent or legal guardian has a card and signs the application to take responsibility for the child’s account. A grandparent can take responsibility for a library card for a minor, but only the parent or legal guardian can give internet use permission.

Out of State:
Visiting persons may obtain a temporary card for internet use for 30 days with the proper ID at no charge. Only one temporary card may be secured in a 12 month time period.

Internet Usage:
Public internet computers are available with a current library card in good standing. WiFi is also available for your own portable device (use at your own risk).
Printing is $.15 per page for black and white prints and $.75 per page for color prints.

Interlibrary Loan:
If we do not have an item you want to you may request that we borrow it from another library system. The cost to you is the postage we pay to return the item to the lending library.

Check Out Policies:
Adults – First check out five books/CDs and one video. Subsequent check outs 25 books/CDs and five videos.
Minors – First check out four books. Subsequent check outs 20 books/CDS. Minors may not check out videos.

Borrowing Periods/Fees:
All items check out for 14 days. Late fees are $1.00 per item per day for videos and $.20 per item per day for all other materials. Items may be renewed a total of three times unless they are on reserve for another patron.

Returning Items:
To return books outside use the white box marked BOOKS. Do not put other items in this box.
To return movies and audiobooks outside use the silver box marked MEDIA.
Items placed in the boxes after 9:00am will be checked in the next library’s business day and are subject to late fees.
