The SDMPO is updating its long-range transportation plan, more commonly known as the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), this year. The MTP is updated every 5 years to plan for the area’s major transportation investments needed to keep up with our region’s growth and development trends. This 2045 Plan will guide federal, state, and local funding over the next 25 years to address congestion and transportation needs in North Texas.
